Fall 2012′s most stylish look: you’re all about the work boots and shorts this season. First spotted in Dakar, Senegal.
Squeaking and squawking bats (well, how would you describe the sound they make?)… can you pipe down? Good grief. I know you’re having a hay day with the mangos up in the tree, but some of us humans are trying to SLEEEEEP!
Potlucks… you are so random. I try to think of something somewhat unusual, and then there’s three other “in the same family” dishes. What’s the deal? Sometimes there’s a table of ”make you quit your diet” desserts, and other times there’s nothing but a pile of Biskrem (a local cookie). One thing’s for sure: there’s always, always some form of pasta. Oh, the mysteries of life.
Guy wearing a ‘Ferretts R Us’ t-shirt… I have no words. Simply no words.
Scorpion… thankfully, I have never met you in person. And no, I’m not going to do any of that unnecessary ”knock on wood”, “Lord willing” stuff. I’m just glad you’ve never appeared in our bed, in my shoes, or anywhere else close to my body!
Big black cloud… I see you up there. Tempting the earth with your cool drops of water.
Pocket dialing book of rules and regulations… are we still held accountable for what we say, if what we said was overheard after we accidentally pocket dialed someone? Or are we off the hook {pun intended}?
Mosquito zapper… not only are you a fabulous source of entertainment and a decent weapon, you also do the job! See a mosquito flying around you but you can’t seem to nail it? You need the 007 Mosquito Zapper! Swing that baby through the air and ZAM! he’s dead. Less malaria and more fun. Who could ask for anything more?

1. Way to rock the shorts-n-boots, Shawn.
2. Umm… aren’t you the one bringing pasta salad tonight? ;)
3. Jonathan saw a tshirt in Maristes that said: If you choke a Smurf, what color does he turn?
1. Always a classic look.
2. We were at a meeeeshionary potluck last night. Hence, loads of pasta dishes… and TDJs.
3. FUNNY!!
Too hilarious, Jenn…thanks for sharing the local news in Dakar…really missing being in Senegal..so this blog helps, so much…thanks!
Judy, I love your comments. I’m glad you enjoy the blog. Praying God will give you peace and joy for where you are now, even though you miss Senegal!
